Nooku Jam Rotterdam is a free-to-attend unconference event that focuses on everything Nooku. Jam's are intense events with discussions, hacking and interaction from developers who are the main actors of the event. The main focus of a Nooku Jam is Nooku and developing with Nooku Framework.
Nooku Framework is a new brain for
Joomla. It allows you to save almost 80% of code! By doing most of the work for you and also allowing you to implement tried and tested programming design patterns and architecture. Everything about Nooku Framework is designed to make the programmer's life easy and fun.
About Nooku Jam
A Nooku Jam is an informal, community-organized events that are put together by Nooku developers and geeks like you. Everyone can participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. Jams are born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment.
A Nooku Jam is very much a hands-on event. It”s a “participatory unconference”, so you, the attendees are going to be making the event as great as it can be. The idea is that everyone who comes takes part in some way: that might be running a session, taking photos, blogging, tweeting etc.
So don’t forget to bring your laptop, camera, your questions, ideas, and if you want you can prepare a small presentation yourself.
The Programme
The Nooku Jam will be facilitated by Johan Janssens, chief architect of Joomla 1.5 and the founder and lead architect of Nooku. Nooku is considered by many, as the natural evolution of Joomla. Johan took all the things he learned from developing Joomla 1.5 and Nooku is the result.
